Requirements

Fluent in French, moderate in English

BAC + 2 in Computer science, IT, Electronics or similar

MS Office, MS Project, MS Windows, Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux, MySQL, Familiar with ITIL processes, C++, C#, .NET, PHP, Java, Freemarker, SQL, ALM QC, XML, Soap UI, SQL, Power-BI, Odata, API integrations

incident, change and problem management, Process and state diagrams, Agile, Scrum

Start of day between 08:00 and 09:00, 08:00 hours per day.

Description

We are looking for a ‘Requirement Engineer’. Main tasks and responsibilities

• You take part in the Agile/Scrum events
• You collaborate with the systems end users and other teams to understand business needs and functional specifications
• You perform analysis of defects/incidents to find the root cause of problem
• You create and maintain the Software Requirements Specification
• You create and maintain the test cases
• You review the tests performed by the test team against the Software Requirements Specification and check test traceability
• You plan manual and automatic tests and report results
• You analyse and describe issues/bugs in our issues Database
• You synchronize and update the Test Results Management tool
• You perform or assist in formal system tests (Factory Acceptance Test)

Business Context

Our customer provides software for remote metering, for water, electricity, gas and any other relevant businesses.

Technical Context

They have an in house developed software that is capable of two way communication with meters of all main manufacturers. This solution is highly scalable, and integrates HES and MDM systems in one solution, with add-on modules for prepayment vendor support, grid optimisation, etc.
