Description

• Technical Consultant mainly focussing on bridging the language barrier between the end customer and the Project execution team
  • French speaking is mandatory requirement.
• Participation in matching the end customer requirements with existing IT implementation options and active cooperation with the Project Manager and the project execution team.
• Aligns high- and low-level business requirements of the customer with the  technical product design elements for AMM/MDM systems
  • interfacing between the business and product development.
• Provides consulting expertise in various end-to-end smart metering processes throughout the lifecycle of the project, from tendering to delivery.
• Central point of contact for the end customer along with the Project Manager.
• Supports project management over the entire product cycle (project definition, planning, execution and conclusion)
  • identifies/resolves issues proactively that may hinder progress of the project.
• Supporting development of DLMS/COSEM-based solutions.

Contexte d'affaires

Our customer is a leading provider for software for Smart Metering, Meter Data Management and auxiliary applications. For their French speaking end customers, they are looking for profiles to expand and extend their current project team.

Experience in technical consulting, business analysis, project management and project implementation for IT services and products is required. As well as extensive experience with client management in global companies and operating in cross-functional, cross-locational and diverse work environments.

Contexte technique

You will be part of the implementation team for new customers. Thorough communication skills are needed to be able to translate the end customer requirements to domain and application specific technical terminology.

Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux, MySQL is mandatory, as it is the core of the delivery platform.

Also, a good understanding of web-services, SOA systems, distributed server systems, system integration and agile development methodology is required to be able to act efficiently.

The candidate will be a native French speaker, and be fluent in English, as this position is focussing on providing support on projects in French speaking countries, where the project team needs to be addressed in English.
